Trip: Trafalgar Tours European Interlude
Hi Michael,
I'm sorry it has taken me this long to write. By now you will have finished your next tour since you said you had one in May. Hopefully it went as well as ours did.
We continue to reflect on our tour and feel it was such a highlight for us. The memories will always be with us. We have many great pictures as well.
There are many reasons why the trip was so wonderful but we believe a major reason was your leadership. Some of the things we really appreciated were:
-preparing us at the start of the trip (especially encouraging us to respect each other and to be positive and not "windging")
- your planning and keeping us informed
- always giving us hints at stops (food, washrooms, prices, etc.)
- your great sense of humor “Lucerne is like Worther on steroids”
- your interesting stories
- unbelievable knowledge about so many things and places
- your attempt to make things work for each person
- your many warnings about pickpockets and us watching our belongings and then your helpfulness for those who had things stolen anyway. (Very classy!!)
- making it obvious that you loved what you were doing!! (more than just a job)
- your encouraging us to go on the extra outings especially like the Vienna concert and the trip to Burano.
- helping us plan when we did not go on the extra outings
- I know I could add more but hopefully you get my point and will realize how much we appreciated your efforts.
We would also like to wish you all the best as you plan your future.
